AIDA Introductory Course

After successfully completing the application process, we would like to welcome you as an officer on board the AIDA fleet. Since you have not yet had the chance to gain any or only a limited amount of experience on cruise ships, your personnel officer recommended this training course to you. 

Structure and Content

You will receive AIDA-specifc expertise from industry and educational experts:

• on the use of various automated and computer-controlled systems on board
• regarding the operation of a variety of technical systems and equipment
• regarding current standards, laws, and standing orders in the cruise industry relevant to you as a ship’s officer
• in addition, you will successfully complete the “Test of Maritime English” (TOME) and improve your language skills.
