AIDA Refresherworkshop

The measures introduced by AIDA Cruises to provide further education and training have as their goal the consistent and sustainable raising of the level of qualification of all officers as required in the areas of navigation, technology, and electrotechnology. In a world developing dynamically and constantly generating new knowledge in all areas, the level of education of the staff becomes a decisive factor towards the success of the company. 

In particular, the operation of the ships with their ultra-modern facilities and systems integrated in a complex environment requires a continuous transfer of up-to-date knowledge. Since taking over the ships of the Sphinx class, this understanding has grown on many levels. In response to demands, we have developed a qualification program that allows each individual to further extend his or her training at regular intervals.

Structure and Content

The topics of this course include systems knowledge, technical knowledge, knowledge of regulations in the areas of the management systems, refreshers in the STCW area, consolidation of leadership and teamwork skills, as well as consolidation of communication skills in the English language.

Dates and Registration

The courses normally run six days for nautical and technical officers, and are offered at various times during the year. The courses are limited to a maximum of 12 participants. The following courses are offered in english:
